This book consists of transcripts of radio interviews given
by the author. The
original transcript of the first one, printed herein, recorded with
Dr. Larry Spargamino, was edited and broadcast in April 2000 by
I believe that the King James Bible, because of faithful,
formally equivalent translation from the true Greek and Hebrew
texts, given by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, translated by praying
believers in the providence of God, is that “more sure word of
prophecy” spoken of by Peter, more sure than that voice from heaven
which Peter heard on the Mount of Transfiguration.
The King James Bible has indeed been tried in a furnace over
the centuries, from the days of Wycliffe, Hus, and Tyndale right
down to the present, by martyrs who gave their lives for its very
existence and in its usage by the Holy Ghost to produce faith in the
hearts of so many believers, and it has come forth unblemished, as
silver.
The Dominicans attempted to crush Erasmus, but he simply continued his work, trusting God for protection and saying: “I long that the peasant should sing the Scriptures to himself as he follows the plow, that the weaver should hum them to the tune of his shuttle, and that the traveler should beguile with them the weariness of his journey.” These words of Erasmus, were repeated, in essence, by Tyndale and Spurgeon, when both spoke of teaching the humble ploughboy the Word of God and the simple truth of the Gospel. In college my Dad read these words of Erasmus, and I know, by his own testimony, that he, on his many night-long automobile journeys home from revival meetings, beguiled his weariness with the Scriptures, just as Erasmus, Tyndale, and Spurgeon had prayed future believers would do.
It is hoped that presentation of these short interviews,
which contain new information not included in my other books, will
help the reader quickly to reach a fuller understanding of the
problems inherent in the modern translations of the Bible.

Silver Words And Pure
Tried In A Furnace Of Earth
The words
of the Lord are pure words:
as silver
tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt
keep them, O LORD
thou shalt
preserve them from this generation for ever.
